Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:21

Why we give.

Giving is an act of obedience and submission by which we demonstrate our trust in God and dependence on him. It is also part of our commitment to one another and to the ministry goals we hold together as a church. What we do with what God has given us reveals our values and helps proclaim the gospel.
You can give in person as a part of a worship service, but giving can be an act of worship even if you mail it to the office or give online. God wants us to submit all that we are and have to him all of the time, not just Sunday mornings.

Secure

The Gathering Place uses Stripe to process contributions. Stripe is a reputable, economical, and secure payment processors that follows stringent requirements established by the major credit card companies. When you contribute through the encrypted connection, only Stripe will have access to the information required to process your transaction.

Efficient

Contributions can be made using any checking account or major credit/debit card. Credit and debit card transactions are processed the fastest, but 2.3% of the contribution is deducted to cover transaction costs. Transactions from a checking account (ACH) are the most cost effective ($.30), though they also require account verification for first-time givers to prove that the account belongs to the giver.
Instant verification is available for accounts at large banks like Chase and Citibank. If your bank or credit union is not included, ACH donations require “micro-deposit” account verification. After filling out your account information, two small deposits totaling less than $1 will be deposited in your account within a day or two. The account will be ready for ACH transactions when you return to the giving page and enter the amounts of the two micro-deposits.

Reliable and Easy

After registering to contribute, logging in will provide you with a streamlined process, details about prior contributions, and giving statements.
